Meet the College Services Team!

team-members-etc_DanielleMs – Galloway Ms. Galloway has been working with Steppingstone for almost three years as a College Success Coach. She is from Atlanta, GA, but has been here since 2009 so calls Boston her home. She loves mac and cheese, it has to be baked. No, “easy mac” over here. This year, Ms. G is looking forward to coaching all of the BLA seniors. She is excited to learn from them and about them. Previously, Ms. G only worked with college aged Scholars but looks forward to a new partnership with the seniors.

One thing is she is looking forward to during her time at The Steppingstone Foundation is to build a great year with scholars and the College Services team.

MadieMs. Spartz My name is Ms. Spartz and I’m a College Success Advisor. I’m from Minneapolis, Minnesota and I am new to Boston! My favorite food is pho with lots of sriracha. One thing I’m looking forward to this year is helping scholars choose the right college for them and have a successful transition into their undergraduate career.

Matt-W_2014_team-members-etcMr. Waldman – Hi Scholars! My name is Matt Waldman and I am the Senior Director of College Services for Steppingstone. This is my eighth year working at Steppingstone, and I love working with Scholars and their families to help them be successful college applicants and students. My favorite part of my job is helping Scholars find colleges and opportunities that propel them to a unique and incredible future. I was born and raised in the great state of Ohio and I still have a ton of pride for my home state (and Cleveland sports!). Outside of work, I see a lot of concerts and movies, travel to visit family and friends, follow Cleveland sports teams, cook, talk politics, and rock climb. This year at Steppingstone, I’m looking forward to some amazing college tours with high school Scholars, working with seniors on college essays, and helping our College Scholars find amazing opportunities, such as Steppingstone’s new connection to Harvard Business School’s HBX CORe program.
