For Steppingstone Scholars, April vacation is a time to visit colleges, explore the city, and spend quality time with their fellow Scholars and Advisors. The Support Services Department hosted a series of April break events for Scholars in grades 6-12. We hope you enjoy the highlights below!
Scholars got to explore schools close to home when they visited Boston College, Holy Cross, and Bentley. From eating in dining halls to meeting students and learning about potential majors, the tours were great opportunities for Scholars to preview campus life.
Boston Sports Museum
The Boston Sports Museum, located at the TD Garden, was a great place to learn about the history of Boston sports (and there is a lot of history to learn!). The group also got to explore the TD Garden and walk around the arena floor.
New England Aquarium
Who DOESN’T love the aquarium? While the entire visit was a blast, a major highlight was getting to touch stingrays in the aquarium’s touch tank (see the video below!)
Scholars made two desserts during a special cooking class led by Ms. Wu. Click here to see more pictures and get the recipes!
